CARBOHYDRATES

Carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the body.

Bivo contains the percentage of carbohydrates typical of the Mediterranean diet.

They are mainly contained in our gluten free oat flour, the first ingredient of Bivo.

Oats, which contain slow-absorbing carbohydrates, release energy over time.

The result is that for at least 5 or 6 hours after drinking Bivo you will have the energy you need, without any glycemic peak.

PROTEINS

Proteins are essential elements for the functioning, growth and repair of all living cells.

In Bivo the main protein sources are represented by pea proteins and rice proteins. The presence of linseed and oats enrich the protein content of Bivo, completing its amino acid profile. Containing all essential amino acids in a balanced way, Bivo has an excellent chemical index (the indicator of the quality of the proteins contained in a food).

The particular characteristics of the protein composition of Bivo make it a food particularly suitable for those who follow a vegan diet.

LIPIDS

Lipids are a vital nutrient for the body.

Omega3 and omega6 are particularly important, which Bivo contains in the right quantities and in the right ratio.

These are useful substances to prevent cardiac degenerative diseases and reduce high blood pressure.

In Bivo the main source of lipids is coconut oil, useful for lowering low-density cholesterol (LDL) levels.

In addition, in Bivo the fats are provided by borage oil (omega6) and linseed (omega3).

FIBER

Dietary fibers have several advantages, including prevention against cardiovascular diseases, reducing the absorption of blood fats and regulating intestinal activity.

Fibers are also functional to metabolism, as they favor the reduction of the glycemic peak and the insulin response.

The ground flaxseeds and oatmeal found in Bivo are natural sources of fiber.

In addition, Bivo contains chicory plant fiber, a natural probiotic.
